At Red Freedom Limited, we believe that menstrual hygiene products should offer comfort, sustainability, and personal choice. Incorporated in 2025, Red Freedom was created to transform the reusable pad experience by providing women and girls with vibrant, colorful options for their everyday care.
Building on over a decade-long legacy, our parent company, Pad-Up Creations Limited has empowered women and girls across 21 countries with access to safe, washable, and reusable sanitary pads. While their traditional options have long been limited to standard white, Red Freedom introduces a dynamic range of multi-colored pads designed for those who want quality, sustainability, and style without compromise.
We serve diverse communities, with a dedicated focus on ensuring accessible solutions for women and girls at the lower end of the economic pyramid.
Beyond our core pad collection, we are advancing accessibility through innovation: manufacturing and installing electricity-free sanitary pad vending machines to ensure immediate product availability in areas without traditional retail distributors or sales agents.

About Our CEO
Olivia Onyemaobi is a social entrepreneur and health advocate with focus on girls/women's reproductive/sexual health. She is the founder of Red Freedom, a social company in Nigeria that produces Nigeria's first certified reusable sanitary pads as a sustainable solution for rural and low income girls/women. She studied business and entrepreneurship at University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA. She also has an M.Sc. in Business Administration and currently a Ph.D. student in business administration at Texila American University, Guyana.
She was a 2016 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur, 2016 Woman of the year by Radiant Health Magazine, 2018 British Council "Grow It" grant awardee, 2018 Global Pitch crowd vote winner, 2018 Mandela Washington Fellow, 2018 most impactful entrepreneur of the year by Tony Elumelu Foundation, 2019 ACT Foundation Change Innovator, 2019 Oxfam Work-in-Progress recipient, 2019 entrepreneur of the year by Feeni, 2021 Acumen Fellow, 2021 Oxfam Green Impact grant awardee, 2021 Next Health Accelerator grant awardee, 2021 Challenge for Youth Employment awardee by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 2021 Roddenberry Foundation grant awardee, and 2021 Women Entrepreneur for Africa grant awardee.
She has 7 publications, both fiction and inspirational, with over 8 years experience working with Unity Bank PLC.
She is happily married with 3 children Michael, Michelle and Melvin.
Her basic motivation is to launch creativity, offer quality and value-added products to consumers, improve people's livelihood and give back to society.
